CUSTOM CONSOLE USING VISUALFORCE AND APEX
Our Client is a UK based charity devoted specifically to the cause of a particular kind of Arthritis. The organization’s staff works closely with all its Members, Volunteers, and a panel of Medical and Allied Health Professional Advisors to coordinate, fund and deliver high quality member services for all affected by Arthritis.
Was currently using Salesforce but it was not customized to their needs.
There was no centralized place for viewing pending callers and available volunteers.
The organization spent a lot of time assigning volunteers to patients, which was a hindrance to their ongoing growth.
The process to identify suitable volunteers was very time consuming. There was no simple user interface to do specific searches according to the required attributes.
We developed a sophisticated Visualforce page. It worked like an integrated console and helped manage the organization’s callers, volunteers and members in an efficient way. It performed the following functions-
View and edit details of all patients/callers who require volunteers.
Search for an appropriate volunteer based on various attributes.
View details of the chosen volunteers.
