Dreamforce is an annual four-day event that brings together all Salesforce communities. During Dreamforce the attendants learn a lot about Salesforce, about new technology in Salesforce, and much more. The attendees can also take part in certification opportunities, see hands-on demos, and even can meet hundreds of partners with solutions to help you grow your business and skills. If you are a company of 5 or Fortune 500 then there is something that you can take away from Salesforce.
At Dreamforce 2019 event, there were more than 170,000 registered attendees from all over the world at Moscone Centre in San Francisco. And this event generated around 176$ million in direct spending in the city, and coveted tickets for the non-Salesforce employees cost higher of $1,500 a pop.
But because of the Pandemic situation, Dreamforce 2020 was held virtually for free. This was the first time when the Dreamforce event occurred virtually with an experience that was never shared before. But this year there are chances that the Dreamforce 2021 event will again happen in-person. This is undoubtedly marvelous news for all the attendees.
A few days back Biz journals reported that Dreamforce is coming back in 2021. As per the discussion with San Francisco Travel Association's chief sales officer - Nicole Rogers said that Salesforce is planning for an in-person event at the Moscone Center from Sept. 21 to 24. It would be the first major citywide convention since March 2020.
Nicole Rogers also said that the Dreamforce planners are not afraid to be more creative. But how many people can attend the event is still anyone's guess.
As per the current health protocols, in-person conventions at the Moscone Centre are limited to 5000 attendees unless negative Covid test results or the vaccination status is verified for the attendees. And the international guest can only attend the event if they are fully vaccinated. But nothing is confirmed yet.
Recently California state government said that if everything goes well and the coronavirus hospitalizations remain stable and also low then from June 15, the gathering of 5000 people can be allowed.
It is really exciting news for all the Trailblazers who eagerly wait for the Dreamforce event. Let's wait for more confirmation. But whether the Dreamforce 2021 will be virtual or in-person it will be incredible as always. Adios!!
