Lightning Components are simply the individual parts that make up a Lightning App page. Components are configurable, can be placed using drag-and-drop, and user friendly.
They are also native components, customizable, and designed in accordance with the new Lightning Experience.
Lightning Components can allow the Salesforce admin to efficiently create a personalized user experience and provide the business with the right content to get results.
Astrea has built many free lightning Components for AppExchange as part of Astreas commitment to making the transition to Lightning smoother for users. We will discuss each one of them separately in this article. These are all available as free components on AppExchange.
Campaign Member Helper
We often require adding campaign members within the campaign. As there is no standard feature to add campaign members in lightning design, it becomes a tedious task to create members and users accustomed to Salesforce classic find it hard to do as it comes as a standard feature in native Salesforce. Astrea has developed a component that solves this problem by providing the adding member functionality. The main objective of this component is to rebuild the functionality of adding campaign members through search option in Lightning as it was in Salesforce Classic. It also encapsulates the functionality to edit and/or delete one or many existing campaign members.

Campaign Member Cloning
We often receive requests from customer that requires creating identical contacts or leads to support their business campaign. As there is no standard feature to clone campaign members in lightning design, it becomes a tedious task to create same contacts/leads number of times and users used to the Salesforce finds it hard to do as it comes as a standard feature in native Salesforce. The component Astrea has developed, identifies this and solves the problem by providing the cloning functionality. The main objective of this component is to rebuild the cloning of campaign members feature in Lightning as it was in Salesforce Classic. User can clone the existing contact/lead and can also add a new contact or lead in the campaign and then clone it.

Hydra
Hydra in lightning helps organizations to clone a record of an object. Users can mention the number of clone records to create. User may clone any number of objects records in short period of time. Hydra has many features which can help minimize the work in cloning object records. User may change the field values according to the requirements.
Hydra lightning component has three main features:-
- Number of clones : Hydra provides a feature in which user can mention the number of cloned objects that are needed. All these records are created together.
- Edit rules : On clicking edit rule, you can change the field values for new record according to your requirements. If you want that the cloned object record should have a different name or different email then this can be done by edit rule.
- Related lists Cloning : On checking related list checkbox, you can clone the related list of that object. It is a very important feature of Hydra in which you can include related list of the record which is selected for the clone.

Astrea Case Merge
Astrea Case Merge is a Salesforce native lightning component. The component is used to merge duplicate Cases in a Salesforce instance according to dynamically selected multi-criteria.
- Subject, Origin, Priority, Status and CreatedDate range. Here, subject is the primary search filter while the rest are optional.
- The component merges the duplicate Case in the parent Case and also their related Email Messages, Comments and Attachments.
It supports point and click graphical user interface which is very simple and easy to use. By using this lightning component, Salesforce administrators can merge Cases with the help of following criteria: Subject, Origin, Priority, Status and CreatedDate range.

View All Activity
View All Activities is a Salesforce native lightning component. The component is used to display all the activities (Events and Tasks) related to a given record of a particular object. It has simple point and click graphical user interface easy to use.
