Salesforce’s Seller Home Page

Salesforce’s seller homepage is now the default home page for the sales apps (sales console and sales engagement apps). Salesforce Seller homepage is a default home page that salesforce chooses if you have not used any custom home page. It is a dashboard which is designed to enhance sales productivity by providing an overview of key sales activities. It also offers insights into objects such as accounts, leads, contacts, daily agendas, and progress toward goals.

Disable Seller home

If you do not want a custom home page and default home page so you can disable Seller Home which reverts you to the previous default home page.

So, you can find setting Salesforce setup->search Home in quick find and click on home

So here in the home page, I have assigned the default home page lwc.

So, what to do if you already have a home page assigned but now you want to see the Seller Home page.

Go to Setup -> App Manager->Sales app then click edit and update the home page to seller home by reassigning it.

1. Check for Seller Home feature Availability: -

  • Go to Setup->In quick find search Release Updates.
  • Look for “enable seller home for sales cloud”
  • If it’s not enabled, click Get Started and activate it.

2 .Assign Seller Home to Sales App: -

  • Setup->App Manager->Sales console App
  • Select edit and in the utility items (Desktop only) section, check if the seller home is listed.
  • If not, click Add Utility item and search for Seller home
  • Save and activate the changes.

3. Manually Assign Seller Home: -

  • Setup->Lightning App Builder.
  • New page->Home page
  • Select the Seller home template and create a new page using this template and activate it

    Feature: It displays a summary of open, won, and lost opportunities.
  • Account Planning (Plan my accounts): -
    Feature: It Shows which accounts need engagement to avoid neglect.

    Features: It displays leads that need follow-ups.
  • Contact Engagement (Build Relationships): -
    Features: It tracks interactions with key contacts.
  • Einstein Contact suggestions (AI-powered Insights): -
